Despite the bizarre injury she has since been released from Atlanta Medical Center, sending her thanks to fans through Twitter.
'After a scary trip to the hospital, I'm back at home and resting up so I can get back cheering for my Hawks, love you guys and God bless!'
After a brief delay the game restarted with the Hawks ultimately losing 113 to 127.

Kristen and Kirsten Hardy from the Sterling neighborhood of Houston have been cheering for the NBA team since 2011 and prior to that worked for the AHL Houston Aeros Aerodynamics.
They both studied physical fitness at Houston University and have previously promoted themselves as singers and actresses who want to release their own fitness video.
According to the team website Kristen majored in Early Childhood Education and works full-time as a pre-Kindergarten teacher.
